The Hague International Singer-Songwriter Festival is an independent, seven-day celebration of the art and craft of the singer-songwriter held in The Hague, Music City.

The inaugural edition of THISSFest took place last year and now it is going on the road to Chester to further establish the THISSFest name.

Their 2014 roadshow will be stopping off at Alexander’s on Sunday, March 23 bringing some amazing Dutch musicians with them including Jara, Merlijn Nash, Some Kind of Fire Rose plus support.

THISSFest aims to become a leading international singer-songwriter festival attracting thousands of music lovers to The Hague, thus enhancing the music and cultural tourism activities during the traditional music festival week, including GBOB (Global Battle of the Bands) and culminating with ParkPop, one of Europe’s oldest and most widely attended free outdoor music festivals.

The Hague International Singer-Songwriter Festival is organised by the Secret Singer-Songwriter Society (S4), a Dutch Nonprofit Foundation whose twofold mission is to foster the work of independent singer-songwriters while raising money for and awareness of a multitude of humanitarian causes around the world.
