John Fairhurst has been honing his craft on the road combining his passions for people and music for years.

Now he is coming to Telford’s Warehouse in Chester on Friday, October 4.

After a gruelling 200+ shows across 10 countries last year, the release of his latest Hungry Blues EP, and a European tour with blues legend Johnny Winter, 2012 was a great year for John Fairhurst.

With UK festivals (including Glastonbury, Shambala and Boomtown) and European tour bookings across nine countries so far, a nomination at The British Blues Awards 2013 for Best Original British Blues Song, an ongoing residency at Harley Davidson European Bike Events, a host of collaborations and respective releases and loads of new videos in the pipeline, 2013 hasn’t slowed this freight train down!

With cracking drumming from Bristol’s Toby Murray and blistering harmonica from Joe Strouzer, there’s a new album and a whole lot of shows to come.

Free entry before 9pm, £4 thereafter. For details, call 01244 390 090 or visit www.telfordswarehouse.com.
