Chester-based TV presenter Louise Minchin said she is 'very nervous and excited' to be one of 20 famous faces taking part in the latest series of Celebrity Masterchef.
The official line-up for the 11th series of the popular cooking show has now been revealed, and the BBC Breakfast star will face some tough culinary competition as she and the stars all battle it out to impress judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
Louise will be joined on the show by star names including 70s popstar Jimmy Osmond, Blue singer Simon Webbe, ex-Sugababe Amelle Berrabah, TOWIE star Amy Childs and ex-Eastenders stars Laila Morse and Sid Owen.
Actress Donna Air, 80s singer Sinitta and Shameless actress Tina Malone are also among the line-up.
This morning, Louise admitted she was already having butterflies about her big challenge, tweeting: "I'm very nervous and excited, I am going to be a celebrity on Masterchef. Cooking won't get tougher than that!"
And who can blame her, when tasks include working in a professional kitchen with paying guests and having to take part in a relay challenge; the winners of which must cook a lavish five course dinner for the Chelsea Pensioners to celebrate the Queen’s 90 birthday.
They will be also be let loose on the public too, tackling the Mass Catering Challenge at venues including Arsenal Football Stadium, Battersea Power Station and Bisham Abbey manor house.
The 12-episode series will air over six weeks, kicking off on BBC One next month.
