The Real Housewives of Cheshire series comes to an explosive end tonight - with a huge row at the 'dinner party from hell'.

The reality show has followed the glamorous, champagne-fuelled lives of WAGs Leanne Brown, Tanya Bardsley and Dawn Ward, football mum Magali Gorre, 'domestic goddess' Lauren Simon and beauty salon owner Ampika Pickston over the past 10 weeks on ITVBe.

And speculation surrounds whether there will be a second series. ITV bosses say they haven't made their minds up and the WAGs themselves have told us they have mixed views.

On tonight’s dramatic final episode, the WAGs are seen at war after being invited round to Dawn’s £12m mansion for what is supposed to be a friendly dinner party.

Dawn's dinner party

Dawn says at the start of the show: “I’ve had such good news recently, I’m feeling on a high so I thought I’d get all the girls together and have a great night. I just want to have a nice dinner party.”

We do wonder if the glamorous property magnate has learnt nothing from the previous nine episodes - as dinner parties have always been a recipe for disaster in the Real Housewives world.

But the final scenes, which we won’t detail so as not to spoil the surprise for viewers, leave hopes of a second series of the show hanging in the balance - at least with the original six Real Housewives back on board.

Dawn is seen saying: “The gloves are off” while Tanya sums up the feeling of everybody when she says: “This is the dinner party from hell”.

By the end of the night Dawn says: “I’m absolutely livid, I want these imbeciles out of my house.”

It’s left to Magali to sum things up at the conclusion: “I always say, never a dull moment in Cheshire, and this was a typical Cheshire moment.”

ITVBe are refusing to confirm if a second series will be commissioned of the show, which has been a huge talking point on their home turf in Cheshire and stomping ground of Manchester.

But a spokeswoman for ITVBe did say: “Regarding series 2, a decision hasn’t been made yet but we’re pleased with how the first series has performed.”

As for the Housewives themselves, there appear to be mixed feelings about whether they would want to be a part of a follow-up show.

Ampika told us: “110 per cent, absolutely.” Asked if the rest of the girls would too she said: “Yep, definitely.”

Tanya said: “I’d definitely do it. I’ll do it til I get kicked out.”

But Magali, who was embroiled in rows early in the series with Dawn and Leanne, was a little more reticent. She said: “I don’t know at the moment. We’ll see if I survived all the series!

“It’s not easy to do this. You should be a certain person that can do this.

“But I’m very proud that they chose me because at the end of the day they could choose many women.

“We’re all different and I’m from a different background. Yes, I’m a football mum now and a manager’s wife but I’m a Dutch woman, a woman of colour, representing Cheshire and I feel very honoured.”

Looks like the ladies are going to be leaving us on a cliffhanger then...
