The 87th Academy Awards, which will be announced at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood this Sunday (February 22), have been more noteworthy for snubs rather than the actual nominations.
Just one year on from the Oscar success of 12 Years A Slave, not a single black artist has been nominated in any of the main individual categories despite Selma being in the running for Best Picture.
Not one woman has been nominated for Best Director despite such contenders as Ava DuVernay for Selma and Angelina Jolie for Unbroken - no women has been nominated in the screenplay categories either despite the acclaimed work of Gillian Flynn for adapting her novel Gone Girl.
And possibly most scandalous of all, no nomination for The Lego Movie for Best Animated Feature!
So what is likely to win this Sunday? Here are my predictions - and the real winners for me.
