English actor and Hollywood A-lister Hugh Grant looked dapper as he returned to Merseyside for a second day of filming today, June 16.

The star cut a smart figure as he arrived on set outside the Liver Building this morning (Tuesday).

Hugh was back filming his new movie, Florence Foster Jenkins, which is being made in Liverpool and New Brighton.

The actor shot scenes for the film, which tells the story of a New York heiress, played by Meryl Streep, who dreams of becoming an opera singer, despite a terrible singing voice, aged 76.

Hugh was snapped wearing a black tailored fit evening tail suit as he continued to turn back time for his latest role.

Yesterday he looked happy and relaxed as the cameras rolled for Stephen Frears’ latest biopic.

He was pictured as a passenger with Swedish co-star Rebecca Ferguson, 31, at the wheel of a 1940s classic car, and also was seen on the beach dunes.

The film, which is set in the 1940s, stars a host of big names such as The Big Bang Theory’s Simon Helberg and Nina Arianda.

Hugh Grant plays Florence’s supportive husband and manager St Clair Bayfield, who loyally shielded his wife from the truth about her vocal performance.

It is not the first time Liverpool streets have been used as double for New York. Several blockbuster movies have been filmed here such as Captain America, Alfie and Jack Ryan alongside smash hits Fast and Furious 6, Harry Potter, and Sherlock Holmes.
