The weather hasn't always been kind so far this summer but this hasn't stopped crowds flocking in their masses to Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre in Chester.

The 2016 season opened at the start of this month with As You Like It by William Shakespeare and last weekend saw the first performances of a new adaptation of the children's classic Stig of the Dump.

Still to come is another Shakespeare comedy - the little seen Two Gentlemen of Verona which has its first performance on Friday, July 22.

The ensemble cast perform across all three productions, with As You Like It directed by Philip Wilson, Stig of the Dump by Derek Bond and The Two Gentlemen of Verona by Alex Clifton.

Tickets for As You Like It, Stig of the Dump and The Two Gentlemen of Verona are on sale now at www.grosvenorparkopenairtheatre.co.uk.
