Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe will test out her DIY skills against staff at B&Q Chester in a free family-friendly event this weekend.
Jennifer, who also appeared in Dancing on Ice, will be seen testing her home improvement skills against the clock in a DIY challenge at the Selaand Road superstore on Saturday (February 20) between 1pm-3pm.
It is part of the store’s attempt to help parents end their half term week on a high with a mixture of free family activities which include face painting, glitter tattoos and a balloon artist.
Adults will also get the chance to pick up in-store vouchers, with staff promising ‘random acts of kindness’ throughout the day.
B&Q Chester store manager Andy Richardson said: “We are very excited about welcoming everyone’s favourite Hollyoaks star into our store.
“From her role in the local soap to Dancing On Ice fame, we all can’t wait to meet Jennifer and most importantly test her DIY skills. We hope to see lots of families coming down to see her in action,” she added.
The family friendly event starts at 11am and finishes at 4pm.
