There are just 10 days to go until a collection of award-winning dinosaurs make their highly-anticipated return to Chester Zoo.

The impressive collection of extraordinarily life-like dinosaurs was last in Chester back in 2012 and proved hugely popular with families visiting the tourist attraction.

Many will be thrilled to hear they will be coming back' from May 28-September 4.

The zoo promises the dinosaurs will be 'fiercer than ever' after being worked on for the past two years and say visitors will get an 'exhilarating journey back to the Jurassic age when these gigantic creatures roamed and ruled the earth'.

Dominic Strange, head of commercial operations at Chester Zoo said: “We’ll have our largest and most fearsome collection of dinosaurs so far, including the Giganotosaurus, one of the biggest carnivores of all, Utahraptor with his curved claws and feathery limbs, and the gentle giant, the plant eating Brachiosaurus.

“We know that our visitors love dinosaurs and that kids can’t get enough of the amazingly life like creations that we’ve had here in previous years.

“After two years of work on new, bigger and better dinosaurs we’re confident that they won’t disappoint. We can’t wait to see the reaction on the faces of the children that visit."
