Canadian superstar Bryan Adams, chart-toppers Travis and the Kaiser Chiefs will be taking to the stage this weekend at Carfest North.

They will join a host of other artists at the annual motoring festival which takes place from July 29-31, at its new location of Bolesworth Castle.

Tickets for most days are sold out but there are still a few tickets left for Friday (July 29).

CarFest North takes place at Bolesworth Castle from July 29-31

For the past two years the family event, the brainchild of Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans, had been held at Oulton Park in Tarporley, which was the scene of tragedy on August 1 this year when 39-year-old Kevin Whyman, a married father-of-one, was killed when his plane crashed during a Gnat Display Team show.

But organisers say the decision to move the location to Bolesworth had 'absolutely nothing' to do with the accident, and that they simply felt Bolesworth was ‘more in keeping’ with the original event which was held at Cholmondeley Castle in 2012.

Bryan Adams, whose career has spanned more than three decades is due to play on Sunday, July 31 while Travis will take to the stage on Friday and the Kaiser Chiefs will headline on Saturday July 30.
