Bubble Zorb Football, Cheshire County Sports Club, Chester

A crazy new way to play football and helping to change and save lives in one of Africa poorest countries.

Bubble Zorb Football involves strapping yourself into a large bubble which covers the top of half of your body, allowing players to bounce and crash into each other as much as they like, all whilst remaining completely safe.

When: Saturday, May 23, 1.30-4.30pm.

Cost: £10 per player, with all funds going to Kick4Life.

Family Fun Day for Cameron, The Rake, Ellesmere Port

Fundraisers have been planned to help Ellesmere Port youngster Cameron Rowley, eight, who has cancer

Family Fun Day at The Rake (formerly Rake Hall) where there will be a bouncy castle, face painting, henna art, raffles and a disco. All proceeds will go to fund treatment for Cameron Rowley, eight, who is suffering from a rare form of cancer.

When: May 23, from noon-4pm.

Shark May-Hem, Blue Planet Aquarium, Ellesmere Port

Celebrating the ocean’s ultimate predators with new shark trails, exhibitions and talks on site as well as a guest appearance by Finlay, the Sale Sharks mascot.

One of Sumatran Tiger Cubs that can be seen at Chester Zoo

The Cheshire-wide festival focusing on science, technology, engineering and maths, in one of the most science rich areas of the UK. Includes a week of activities at Chester Zoo.

Warriors at Beeston Castle

Visitors are invited to join the medieval townsfolk of Beeston to cheer on the warriors as they prepare for battle, practice their skills and compete in the final battle in the main arena.

Make an Art Installation with Frances Disley, Grosvenor Museum, Chester
