Comedy duo Cannon and Ball met in the early 1960s while working as welders in Oldham.

They started out as singers in pubs and clubs, but switched to comedy after learning that comics earned an extra £3 a night!

They make a welcome return to the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl on Wednesday, August 27 at 7.30pm. Tickets £17.50, £15.50 concessions £1.50 off. Call 01745 33 00 00 or visit www.rhylpavilion.co.uk .
