Chester-born Daniel Craig will reveal a Bond bombshell tonight when he appears in a one-off comedy sketch for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.

The actor is set to star in the sketch with former 007 actor Sir Roger Moore, and the performance, written by David Walliams and his Big School collaborators The Dawson Brothers, is set to shock fans.

Craig, 47, who was born on Liverpool Road in the city, will play the part of James Bond, and aside from Sir Roger Moore, the sketch will also feature other James Bond stars from the current films such as Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Naomie Harris and director Sam Mendes.

Comic Relief’s ‘Face The Funny’ Red Nose Day episode will be broadcast live from the London Palladium tonight at 7pm on BBC One.
