One recent reviewer on the site gave the Jaunty Goat a five star review, saying: “They know and love their coffee here and it shows.
"Absolutely beautiful coffee that would rival the best I've had in Australia or New Zealand.
"Great atmosphere, lovely decor with brass, wood and iron that fits in so well with the rough brick of the historic building.”
While another reviewer said: “We were really pleased to find this place for lunch. It had a smallish yet perfectly formed menu of paninis, soup and salad for lunch along with a range of, what looked like, mouth-watering cakes etc.
"I had a delicious halloumi, pine nut and tomato salad while my husband had a goats cheese and beetroot panini.”
Jaunty Goat Coffee Company describes itself as a 'small, independently owned coffee shop' on its Facebook page, whose passion is to 'produce the perfect cup of coffee' and share their love with the city.
Loyal customers were disappointed when it seemingly shut up shop last April, but it turned out the team had seized the opportunity to move a few doors down Bridge Street to bigger premises and reopened the following month.
