Chester's very own traditional family pantomime is once again under way at The Forum Studio Theatre in the city centre with the show looking to be another blockbuster at the box office.

Following on from the sell out success of last year's production of Cinderella, this year's pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which opened on December 7, promises to be another magical, fun filled experience for all the family with its lavish costumes and stunning sets.

The fairytale has been adapted by panto legend Peter Swingler who has written and directed more than 40 pantomimes ranging from Cinderella and Aladdin to less well known subjects like Humpty Dumpty.

Peter, who first appeared in pantomime in 1973, said of the production: “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has tested director Rob Stevens's organisational skills as he has cast not just seven youngsters in the roles of the dwarfs but 21, there are three teams that will share the 40 performances.”

The pantomime runs at The Forum Studio Theatre in Chester until Monday, December 30 and full details of show times and tickets can be found at www.chestertheatre.co.uk or by contacting the box office on 01244 341296.
