ANSELMIANS have a double bill at Malone Field this weekend.

Wilmslow are the visitors tomorrow for a South Lancashire/Cheshire One League game and then Chester follow 24 hours later for a Thwaites Cheshire Cup quarter-final.

It is a big ask for Anselmians who have been struggling with injury problems this season. But they had a heart-ening single-point success against Northwich last Saturday which should stand them in good stead.

The Eastham side has generally done well against higher class opponents. They must bridge a two-league gap against Chester who are odds-on favourites to clinch a last-four place.

Wirral have Wigan as league visitors tomorrow. Jim Yarranton, who went on as a replacement to score a match-winning try at Warrington last week, gets a start at full-back this time. Rob Ledner is called into the back-row.

Warrington go to Birchfield and Widnes to Northwich while Leigh wel-come Southport.

Division Two leaders Hoylake have a cross-river home derby against St Edwards and should be good enough to add to their points tally. They have been running in a lot of tries this season.

Several clubs are back in action after having World Cup final weekend off. Oldershaw travel to Ruskin Park hoping to maintain their recent improvement and other Division Two fixtures include Orrell Anvils v Ashton on Mersey, Ormskirk at Moore and Ellesmere Port v Crewe and Nantwich.

In Division Three Runcorn have Halton as visitors, Sefton meet Congleton and Collegiate are on home ground against Marple.

An interesting derby sees Wallasey, who have lost their way somewhat recently, entertaining Prenton.

There are no scheduled Division Four games but two clubs from this division Parkonians and Port Sunlight meet at Holm Lane in the quarter final of the Thwaites Cheshire Plate tomorrow.
