THERE are still plenty of promotion and relegation decisions to be decided in the four Divisions of South Lancashire/Cheshire League as the final full programme goes ahead tomorrow.

Some clubs do have the luxury of stepping out with the pressure well and truly off.

Widnes, who are delighted to have taken the Division One title, should enjoy their home match against Northwich but second place is still at stake. Leigh must win at Southport and hope Bowden fail in the Isle of Man against Vagabonds.

Defeat for Southport could threaten their league place. Anselmians would then step over them if they can conjure up success at Wilmslow, who have just missed out in the promotion stakes. Other games include Warrington versus relegated Birchfield and Wigan v Wirral.

The Division Two situation is clear at the top with Hoylake and Sandbach going up. Moore are already down and will be joined by either Ormskirk or Ellesmere Port and possibly St Edwards if they lose by a big score at home to Hoylake.

Ormskirk should beat Moore, but Elles-mere Port have tough task away to Crewe and Nantwich, to whom they recently lost in the Cheshire Plate final.

Oldershaw are at home to Ruskin Park and Orrell Anvils go to Ashton on Mersey.

Wallasey and Manchester Wanderers will go up from Division Three but the championship is still in the balance. Wallasey have a derby at Prenton tomorrow.

Runcorn look to be down and will not find it easy at third-placed Halton. Sefton visit Congleton and Collegiate go to Marple.

Crunch game in Division Four is at Holm Lane where Parkonians take on Oswestry. A win for Oswestry would take them up with Sale Amateurs on points difference. Parkonians will be promoted if they avoid defeat.

Other fixtures here include Capenhurst v St Mary's, Port Sunlight v Holmes Chapel and Helsby v Mossley Hill.
