Widnes 19pts Birchfield 11: Widnes won an uncompromising derby to stay at the top of Cheshire/South Lancashire Division One.

The home side scored through a Mike Lamb try with match-winner Stuart Hussey kicking three penalties, a conversion and a vital drop goal late on.
