Director of rugby Nic Corrigan has agreed a new two-year deal with Chester with 11 senior players also putting pen to paper on new contracts.
With the Hare Lane outfit performing strongly in National League Two North, club officials have moved to secure those players seen as integral parts of the current squad.
Tom Gregory, Ross White, Mike Craven, Rhys Hayes, Gavin Woods, Tom Foden, Sean Green, Will Nelson, Liam Gill, Tom Evans and Guy Ford have all signed two-year contracts.
In addition, promising youngsters Harrison Vare, Angus Bowyer, Guy Kirkby and Kyle Joseph have been added to the new senior development programme.
Corrigan said: “I am delighted to be able to sit down and have direct conversations with players in respect of where they would want things to improve, where we would want them to improve, and ultimately to secure their continuing commitment to being part of what we are building at Chester.
“It provides us with an exciting framework and talented group of players to perform for Chester.”
Along with his role as lead coach for the first team, Corrigan has been tasked with strengthening the second, third and women’s teams and creating a new fourth team.
He will also oversee a new club-wide player development programme designed to help all players reach their full potential.
He said: “I am proud to be able to commit to a club that for the past two seasons has embraced player development and focused itself on the right areas of broader development.
“The club is vibrant, with players being grown and sustained by correct processes and systems of development, as core values.
“That said, whilst performance is important, the ethos and values of being a family club must not be forgotten. My role will be to ensure that Chester is truly one club.”
Chairman Jonny Beckwith said: “The club is enjoying great success at present, throughout the junior and senior section.
“Nic Corrigan has been integral to the recent success and we are delighted that he has committed himself to the club.”
In-form Chester travel to Preston Grasshoppers in National League Two North on Saturday.
