CHESTER put their North One promotion bid on track with a victory over Middlesbrough last Saturday and hope to carry on where they left off when Morley visit Hare Lane tomorrow (2.15pm).

On paper the two teams look even with Morley just one place ahead in the table, but director of rugby Steve Dorrington is confident home form should see his team through.

'I could not understand how Middlesbrough had won only one game,' he said. 'They gave us the fright of our lives. They were very tenacious and on that form should win games.

'I was delighted with the win and it was good to see the lads come back after being behind, which demonstrated the spirit in the camp.'
