OULTON Park has a top line-up of club action this weekend, including the sixth round of the T-Cars Championship.
The tin-top series, which specialises in giving valuable racing experience to up-and-coming 14 to 17-year-olds, has seen some incredibly close racing so far this season.
Also on the bill at the Cheshire circuit is the North West Formula Ford Championship, with the post-89 and the pre-90 classes both making their third of five visits to Oulton this season.
The pre-90 title chase is delicately poised, with just 12 points separating the top four drivers. Bolton's Tom Bradshaw (196pts), Chester's David Franklin (193), Llandudno's David Ashton (186) and Irishman Robert Whelan (184) are all scrapping for every single point in their 1989 Reynards.
In Post-89, Chester's Jamie Stanley will enjoy a welcome return to action after suffering extensive damage to his Swift SC94 in the season opener at Oulton back in April.
There is plenty more to complete the package, with the Ford XR Challenge, MG Midgets, Super Silhouettes, BARC North West Saloons and VSR also in action.
