CREWE Flyers kicked on to finish third overall at the North Midlands Gala, at Biddulph and Macclesfield.

James Mitchell, 10, won the award for the Top Boy in his age group, while Bethany Mayer was the top medal performer with five golds, two silvers and a bronze.

Elliot Bloor got four golds, while Colette Foster and Bryony Carragher got a trio. Other golds were won by Charlotte Bradbury (2), Anthony Ryan, Robert Morris, Austin Barton and Michael Eastwood.

Silver winners were: James Briscoe (2), Bryony Carragher (3), James Mitchell (10), Eleanor Bloor (3), Elliot Bloor (2), Austin Barton (2), Toby Molyneux (2), Anthony Ryan, Charlotte Bradbury, Lauren Sinclair and Rebecca Small.
