ROD Adams of Whitby Bowling Club won the Hospice Individuals Competition.
He overcame Phil Gibbs of Ellesmere Port RBL 10-7 in a game that went to the final end.
The final 16 players had played down to a winner at the Electric Club in Capenhurst, where the tricky mats provided an evening of challenging and competitive bowling.
A total of £48 was raised from the raffles held.
