EVERY Crewe Flyer achieved a personal best at the Robin Hood Open Meet in Sheffield.

The 21 Flyers who took part in the two-day event in the Olympic-style 50m pool found their top form to notch new best times.

Daniel Carragher, Joe Wood and Elliott Bloor grabbed gold medals. Austin Barton, Colette Foster, Stephanie Eastwood, Bryony Carragher and Rebecca Small got top-three spots.

Other Crewe swimmers who got top-eight places were Amy Buckley, Lauren Sinclair, Charlotte Bradbury, Mike Eastwood, Adam Price, Marcus Ikin and Toby Molyneux.

Coach Steve Milhench said: 'The squad performed exceptionally well.'
