MEMBERS of Chester Triathlon Club enjoyed plenty of success over the jubilee weekend.
Paul Roberts, Ciara Murphy and Chris Malpass took part in Budworth Mere open water race, organised by Warrington Dolphins.
Roberts competed in the triathlon one-mile race (wetsuit) and won with a time of 20 minutes and 14 seconds.
Not to be out done, Murphy triumphed in the ladies three-mile race (non wetsuit) in a time of one hour and 15 minutes. To complete the winning set, Malpass won the male three mile race (non-wetsuit) in an hour and four minutes.
A week earlier, Malpass had raced in the Albert Dock open water championship in Liverpool and won the four-mile non-wetsuit race.
Elsewhere over jubilee weekend, new Chester Tri recruit Lisa Grantham finished second at the Buxton Half Marathon, less than 30 seconds behind the winner.
There are still places available for the Dee Mile swim on June 20, organised by Chester Triathlon Club.
