THE Deva Divas Triathlon was blessed with perfect conditions as the women-only field raced around Manley Mere in Frodsham on Sunday.

The race was in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer this year and featured a 750m swim, 16k bike and 5k run.

Crossing the finishing line in first was Northwest Jets’ Aimee Blackhouse, who clocked a time of one hour and eight seconds.

The first Chester Triathlon Club competitor over the line was Kate Litherland, who won her age group in 1.10:31.
