PETER Nelson surged to victory in Sunday's Willaston AC open match fished on the Shropshire Union Canal at Waverton, writes Brian Roberts.
Nelson took all skimmers to bread to weigh 15-3-0 to beat Phil Henry with perch and skimmers for 9-1-0 and edging Bernie Leatherbarrow into third place with three bream weighing 8-2-2.
