MOTOR SPORT: CREWE rider Aaron Tilley is leading the Derby Phoenix Motorcycle Club Championship going into the third round this weekend.
The 34-year-old, from Albion Street, has set a searing pace in the competition which the others are finding hard to live with.
An outstanding showing in the second round at Anglesey increased his points tally to 177, with his closest rival 24 behind.
Three wins in four races on his Kawasaki ZXRR 600, along with a third-place spot, cemented his position as the man to beat, earning him 91 points.
Added to two first places, a second and a third in the first round at Croft, it puts him in a strong position.
The next round on Saturday and Sunday is at Cadwell Park.
