MUSCLE mania is coming to Crewe on Saturday.
Burly competitors from across the North West will descend on Fitness First in West Street to take part in an Iron Man Endurance Challenge.
The event is organised by Crewe bodybuilder Tim Rosiek, and he is confident it will be a success.
He said: 'We have people coming from far and wide to take part.
'There should be some exciting competition on show, and the added bonus is that one of our sponsors, PHD nutrition, will be there all day to give advice and free samples away.'
Tim, 23, of Bateman's Court, Wistaston, has been bodybuilding for more than six years and finished runner-up in the Mr Class of the World Fitness Federation's (WFF) World Championship in Chrisoupoli, Greece, last year.
A personal trainer at Fitness First, he was also first novice and second overall at the North Staffs Open. He was first novice at the Mr England and Mr Wigan contests and also scooped the overall prize at the latter.
Males will be divided into under 13 stone, 13-15 stone, and over 15 stone categories, while there will be an open female class.
Entrants will be asked to perform dead-lift, shoulder press, leg press, bench press, chin-ups, sit-ups and dips in the contest.
Weigh-in and registration will take place from 9am, with competition getting underway from 10am. Entrance is £5, with prizes on offer for the top three in each category.
