Frank Pennington knocked a 43 break for the Buffs in reply.
Simms Cross beat Village A 6-3, Mark Bingham continuing his excellent season as a 72-56 winner while Kev Marsh beat a worthy opponent 67-44.

Pavilions A beat Farn-worth B 8-1, Lee Gascoigne (95-7) and Peter Bate (88-26) running amok.
Village B's tremendous team performance produced an 8-1 victory. Neil Webster took most of the plaudits with an opening 67-38 win.
RAOB B won 7-2 with A Langley and K Sanders proving their worth.
