Hundreds of schoolchildren braved the wet weather for a major athletics competition in Ellesmere Port.
The Cheshire Oaks Sports Partnership Olympic Games, staged for the second successive year at the Stanney Oaks track, featured schools from the Ellesmere Port, Frodsham and Helsby areas.
Kingsley Community Primary School won, Meadow of Ellesmere Port finished runners-up and Helsby Hillside finished third.
A total of 17 schools took part and each was allocated a country to represent during the competition.
