ST WERBURGH'S United racked up a 5-1 win to hold on to top spot in the Chester and District League's Olympic Sports Division.
United were too good for Christleton A and they were able to extend their lead over second-placed Broughton Wings A, who dropped two points to St Werburgh's in a 4-2 victory.
Third-placed St Saviour's B closed in on second place with a 6-0 clean sweep at CCO.
Christleton B claimed a 5-1 success of visitors St Theresa's.
They were 3-1 up when Saints captain Ray Cheers pitted himself against Wayne Amey, who ran out the winner by 16 points. Pete Sheppard then beat Micky Thomas to seal Christleton's victory.
Conservative A overcame an early setback at home to Upton RBL A. Chris Bennion and Glen Shiel gave the visitors a 2-0 lead with wins over Steve Allman and Eddie Jenkins. But Andy Duckers , Steve Williams, Neal Jones (with a 59 break) and B-teamer Chris Murphy turned it around to give Cons 4-2 verdict.
In the Haz-Decs Division, leaders Liberal A suffered a 4-2 home defeat at the hands of lowly Upton RBL D. Tony Hughes gave the home side the lead with a win over John Fergus, but Upton recovered to go 2-1 up with victories from Dave Nicholas over Tom Hughes and Andy Sutton Thompson over Anthony Barnes.
Liberal's Alan Dagnall defeated Jerry Banks to level the scores at 2-2, but Paul Cross and John O'Boyle made sure of an Upton win by beating Phil O'Sullivan and Steve Ankers.
Upton B's team registered a home draw with Broughton Wings B, who went 2-0 up with wins from Ian Beales (against Tony Ankers) and Darroch Machie (against Leo Jackson).
Upton fought back as Alan Coombes and Brian Sharratt defeated Mark Taylor and Frank Mills. Mike Wilkes then made it 3-2 to Upton he saw off Archie Lamb, but leading scorer Bryn Hughes salvaged a draw for Wings with a 59/54 win over Doug Edwards.
Conservative B, who are third with two games in hand over the leaders, went to Upton C and won 5-1.
Table-toppers St Saviour's A were held at home by Conservative C for their eighth draw of the season. The win of the night saw John Wells defeat Roy Proctor.
