AFTER a season of more than 25 race weekends, Oulton Park will host its last meeting of 2006 tomorrow.

The Wirral 100 Club heads to the Cheshire track for its championship finals and, as the title-deciding round for many of the club's competitions, several riders will be racing on the edge.

More than 200 competitors have already been confirmed for the event, with the closest battle expected to be in the Power-bike category.

Three riders are all in with a shout of victory with Adrian Williams of Malpas, Phil Astbury of Mold and Dave Walker of Clitheroe all heading to the final round with the sole aim of winning the title.

Away from the title fights, two nonchampionship sidecar races should provide some extra fun, with competitors from across the North West heading to compete at Oulton for one final time.

Although several championships are still to be decided, some riders are already celebrating titles they've taken.

They include Wrexham's Nigel Baines (Formula 400), Preston's Dave Bath (Formula 600) and Halkyn's Caron Roberts (250 Classic).

* Tickets will be available to buy on the gate, costing £12 per adult with children aged 12 and under admitted free.
