HOCKEY: THE Queen's School Under 19 hockey team have 'done the double' by winning both the Chester and District out-door and indoor tournaments.
Coached by Sandy Littler, the outdoor team comprised Catherine Forshaw (captain), Claire Haddad, Emma Peters, Rosie Leech, Helen Jones, Charlotte Whittaker, Rachel Perry, Hannah Clark, Laura Whiteley, Philippa Johnstone, Georgie Washbrook, Amy Underhill, Holly Westwood, Sophie Ledsham and Lucy Woodside.
The team who won the indoor title were Catherine, Rachel, Amy, Georgie, Holly, Sophie and Lucy.
The Queen's School's U16s have also won the Chester and District outdoor title.
They scored 17 goals and did not concede any in matches against Bishops High, Abbeygate College, Tarporley High, Bishop Heber, and Upton High.
The team comprised: Sally Meekins (captain), Emily Fozard, Kate Johnson, Emma Shore, Hannah Baker, Katie Minshall, Clair Davies, Nicola Pether, Ellie Sayers, Jemima Cope, Hattie Cottrell, Vicky Wignall and Stephanie Edwards.
