CHRIS Price's 21-10 fired second-placed Grapes A to victory over table-topping Red Lion A in Frodsham and District League Division One.

After a game which saw four winners on each side, the leaders' advantage was cut to two chalks.

Goshawk A, whose defeat of visiting Helsby D was inspired by John Faulkner's 21-8, remain in third.

Fourth-placed Helsby B (Wendy Ashley 21-8) triumphed at Castle Park A, despite Dave Cooper's 21-5.
