SWIMMING: YOUNG members of Ellesmere Port Amateur Swimming Club made a splash at the Cheshire County Cheestrings Championships by collecting a full set of medals.
Ellesmere Port swimmers picked up a gold, silver and bronze from the event held at Birkenhead's Europa pool.
Lauren Silcock struck gold in the girls' 10-years 400m individual medley, Tom Salisbury earned silver in the boys' 13-years 100m breaststroke and Rhiannon Wall took bronze in the girls' 14-years 400m individual medley.
As a county winner, Lauren will now compete at district level with a chance of qualifying for the national finals in July.
