SWIMMING: GIRL power was in force in the Ellesmere Port & Neston Junior Schools Gala at the EPIC.

The borough's winning girls posted quicker times than their male counterparts in all races.

Whitby Heath won the girls title and made a splash as overall champions while Meadow took the boys title.

Meadow came second overall followed by Our Lady's.
