David Hughes hooked top spot in the Chester Police Flyfishers contest at Ty Mawr reservoir, with three rainbows weighing 5-12-0 using a mudder or sedge.
Peter Jones was next with three rainbows weighing 5-8-0 and Peter Hindle was third with a 3-12-0 brace.
Les Picken led the field in the Cheshire Fishery Tuesday open match with 48-12-0 of carp, ahead of Shaun Sandham's 42lbs and Steve Norman's 23-12-0.
And Picken completed a double when he won the Tarvin Sands AC Thursday match on home waters with 51lbs of carp.

Brian Harvey and Charlie Mitchell won on the opening day with 16 fish, mostly brownies, weighing 30lbs. And on the following day, Harvey teamed up with Stuart Heppe and they found 16 fish to weigh in 32lbs using buzzers or lures.
