VAUXHALL'S number one team beat Neston Civic to win the McEwan's Team Competition.
Played at the OC Club in Bromborough, the competition was the final event in the Ellesmere Port and Wirral Indoor League season.
Finals night saw Neston take on Whitby in the semi-final and run out 35-23 winners, their team of L Preston, M McBain, B Preston and A McBain getting the better of R Jones, J Watts, J Wilkinson and M McCrave.
Vauxhall's came through the other semi-final with a 42-26 triumph over Castrol's number two team (B Chapman, J Grimshaw, M Murphy and I McDougall).
In the final, the Vauxhall's team - comprising T Lowndes, D Lowndes, C Saul and L Jones - were 31-28 winners over Neston.
A total of £67 was raise from raffles held over the five nights.
