NICKY Archer is showing scores of other athletes a clean pair of heels.
The Vale Royal AC runner now heads the UK Under 23s road race rankings for 10k, 10 miles and the half-marathon.
Her last performance was arguably her best ever.
Archer joined 4,000 others at the Edinburgh half-marathon and finished runner-up, shadowing the elite Kenyan athlete Catherine Mutwa the whole way and finishing just 20 seconds behind her in a personal best time of 74mins 38secs.
The previous week 21-year-old Archer was fourth in the Eastleigh 10k in 34.43.
