CHRISTLETON High School students were given a netball masterclass by one of the game’s leading players.

England player Jade Clarke paid a special visit the Chester school to put pupils through their paces.

Lucy Whigham, of Christleton’s PE department, said: “The girls gained a lot from the session and appreciate Jade giving up her time.”

Jade’s visit was a reward for Christleton’s under 14 and U16 teams. Both have qualified for the North West finals of the national schools netball tournament.

The two teams played superbly in the Cheshire round of the tournament at The Grange High School in Northwich, qualifying for the next round as runners-up.
