TEENAGE race ace Seb Morris continued his hugely impressive start to the 2011 season at Donington Park over the weekend by securing his third and fourth wins in as many races in the Ginetta Junior Championship.

Departing the Leicestershire venue with a lead of more than 50 points in the driver standings and having set a new lap record of one minute and 23.874 seconds (84.94mph), the Chester King’s School student remains undefeated in the current campaign and is looking every inch a potential title winner even at this early stage.

With just one full year of car racing experience under his belt, the 15-year-old is fast emerging as one of the UK’s top young drivers.

“It’s obviously fantastic to win both races again, it’s just the start to the championship we wanted,” said Hillspeed driver Seb, who is from Marford.

Ian Mackman kept his focus in front of the Motors TV cameras to remain as series leader of the Superstock 1,000 class in the Thundersport GB Championship.

The Chester mechanic rode his Suzuki GSXR1000 to a first overall victory of the season in the first of three races at Donington Park.

The result earned the 31-year-old, who works at Bill Smith Motors in Boughton, pole positions for two televised events on the Leicestershire meeting’s second race day when he added two more podium places.
