JENNY Tinmouth joined some of the world’s finest riders at Silverstone over the weekend.

The 33-year-old mechanic rode in the Silverstone 200, a support event for the blue ribband MotoGP series.

A new addition to this year’s calendar, the Silverstone 200 was open to teams and riders competing in British, National or International Championships at Superbike, Supersport or Superstock 1,000 level.

It consisted of two 100 kilometre races around the 3.6-mile Grand Prix circuit.

Jenny, of Ellesmere Port, finished Saturday’s race in 14th and was 18th on Sunday, after suffering tyre problems.
