A BARNSTORMING display brought Ellesmere Port race ace Jenny Tinmouth the best finish of her career on Monday.
The 32-year-old (left) powered into the top 10 of the British Supersport Championship at Oulton Park to secure second spot on the podium in the Supersport Cup, a competition which runs within the 600cc class.
Heavy showers made conditions difficult and many riders, including Tinmouth in her warm-up, wiped out. But the Isle of Man TT female speed record-holder kept her cool when it mattered most to climb the field and finish triumphantly with her highest class placing ever.
