A CHARITY endurance race will bring the car racing season to a close at Oulton Park tomorrow.

The Cheshire circuit hosts the Fun Cup UK event, a four-hour race with a massive 33-car grid that raises money for Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation.

The Fun Cup has chosen to dedicate this year’s race to raising money for Cancer Research UK because several people involved with the series have been touched by the illness. The money raised will be shared with the British Heart Foundation to honour the memory of David Byers, who was a series regular for three years but who sadly passed away from a heart attack last month.

There will also be races from the BRSCC Car Championships, including the Formula Ford North West series finale.

Tickets cost £12 for adults on the gate.ŠChildren aged 12 and under get in free.ŠFor further information call 0870 950 9000 or visit www.oultonpark.co.uk
