SPEEDWAY: ALAN Mogridge has agreed terms to stay at Loomer Road for a third consecutive season and his signing completes Stoke Potters' top five for next season.

Mogridge, who slots in at number four in the team, said: 'I want to put last season behind me and start afresh in 2004.

'My belief is that I can turn things around and I can assure all the supporters that my enthusiasm for the sport is still as strong as ever.

'If I can stay clear of injuries, I feel quite certain that I can have a far more consistent season and improve on my average.'

Potters promoter Dave Tattum added: 'If Moggo can recapture his form, he can be a trump card for us next season.

'I think we have a decent top five in Jan Staechmann, Paul Pickering, Robbie Kessler, Paul Clews and Moggo and I can now concentrate on adding the final two riders for the bottom end.

'I'm quite pleased with our team building so far and if we get a bit of good luck for a change, I think we can give most teams a run for their money.'
