A TAE kwon-do instructor and one of his star pupils high-kicked their way to silver medals at the TAGB English Championships.
Richard Jones claimed second place in the black belt patters division at the Telford event, while 10-year-old Megan Latham won silver in the girls’ sparring division.
Richard runs the Richard Jones Schools of Tae Kwon-do in Duddon, Kelsall and Tattenhall.
He said: “It was a great opportunity for my students to compete in the venue that will host the world championships in September, and it is always nice when students win medals.”
Megan is hoping to compete at the world championships later this year.
