A QUARTET of young martial artists from the same family have celebrated grading success together.
Members of the Mo family, Anthony (green belt), Adrian (red belt), Stephanie (red belt) and Darren (white belt), were among the successful students at the Shogun Traditional Shotokan Karate-Do Academy.
They were approved for their new belts after passing practical and theory tests in front of an examination panel which featured chief instructor Sylvester Walsh, Adam Walsh, Dan Doran and Joe Doran, who are all black belts.
Other success stories were: Ben Entwhistle (purple), Jim Pugh (black), Chris Smith (orange), James Owen (blue), Mathew Lawrence (red) and William Lawrence (white).
The Academy was formed in 1968. Training sessions are at the Oakley Centre, West Street, Crewe, from 6.30pm on Thursdays, and at Coppenhall Sports Centre from 10am on Sundays. Call Sylvester Walsh on 01270 258987 or e-mail email@example.com for details.
