CREWE & District Table Tennis League leaders Post Office A maintained their surge to retain the Division One championship.
Three wins from John Ibbs and two each from Steve Addis and John Stoneley helped steer them to an 8-2 win over Wordcraft, who had John Reader to thank for their two points won.
Second-placed Bentley Blades were 7-3 winners over Post Office B thanks to a Kevin Foster hat-trick and a brace of wins from Phil Smith.
The B side's main highlight from the match was two wins from the bat of Alan Shaw.
Norton's 6-4 win over Post Office D keeps them at the foot of the table. In Division Two, leaders Post Office E were easy 10-0 winners over Bentley Boys with Shaun Devaney, Mel Green and guest player Lee Rickard all on top form.
The Boys had better luck in their other match with an 8-2 win over Civic TT thanks to a Ray Stafford maximum and two wins each for Mark Walton and Bob Sproson.
Civic went down for a second time in a 10-0 whitewash by Post Office F who had Dave Prince, Tony Kemp and Bill Newton all on form.
