CHESTER Badminton League held their presentation evening at Airbus Sports & Social Club.

The night was a great success with more than 140 players and partners attending, aged from 14 to 64.

Deva Badminton Club had a very successful season, winning three of the six divisions – Division One, Division Three and Division Four.

Division One and Three were closely contested with the top two teams in each finishing on the same points.

The League AGM is at Cheshire County Sports Club on May 21 where a decision will be taken whether or not to change to the new rally points system of scoring games.

This is the system used in international, county and junior games, although most leagues still use the old scoring system.
